FAQs

  • To get more of your medication, you can refill it at a pharmacy. When you exhaust your refills, a licensed nurse practitioner, PA, or physician must evaluate your health to renew the prescription and safely manage your condition.

    A separate visit is needed for prescription renewals.

 You can request a virtual prescription renewal with Lyons Primary Care Group.

    Renewals may be for a 30-day supply of medication, or it may include refills at the provider’s discretion. Your provider can send your prescription to a U.S. pharmacy of your choice where you can pick up your medication or have it delivered to you.

  • Lyons Primary Care Group offers a wide range of prescriptions for most common conditions such as blood pressure, thyroid, asthma, and diabetes.

    Limited controlled prescriptions for ADHD are now available for patients in Florida. Prescriptions are issued at the provider’s discretion.

  • Lyons Primary Care Group does not perform disability, accident, or injuries exams.

    We do not engage in letter writing services.

  • If you have a visit with us and miss work or school, we can provide you with a school or work excuse. It is important to note that this is subject to the discretion of your provider and may require additional documentation or proof of illness.

    To ensure your well-being is given proper attention, kindly inform us promptly of any illnesses. Please note that we are unable to accommodate retroactive work or school excuses or long-term requests.

  • Please visit urgent care and follow up with your primary care provider as directed.

    We do not accommodate immediate or emergency requests. For life-threatening emergencies, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

  • While we do not offer free visits, we do have affordable private pay options. We share information upon request about local community organizations which provide additional resources and support for individuals in need of more accessible healthcare.
